Patricia M. Moline , CFRE, CFP
Iowa State University Foundation
Patricia M. Moline, CFRE, CFP® is a Certified Fundraising Executive and a Certified Financial Planner and started in fundraising after realizing that it's tough to make a decent living as an opera singer. She is currently Executive Director of Gift Planning and Leadership Gifts at the Iowa State University Foundation. She is a summa cum laude graduate in mass communications and music of Miami University (the one in Ohio!) and has completed two master's degrees (opera and arts administration) at The Florida State University. Pat literally sang her way through school because of the scholarship support she received as a student. She has always tried to "pay back" by helping others assist students with their educations.
For the past fifteen years, Pat has worked in comprehensive major and planned gifting programs at Iowa State, Florida State, Armstrong Atlantic, and Kansas State University. A past national chair of the Association of Arts & Sciences Advancement Professionals, Pat currently serves as a member of the Professional Advancement Division of Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and is a member the National Committee on Planned Giving, as well as the Financial Planning Association.
Pat is a frequent presenter at national and regional fundraising conferences. She is a graduate of AFP's Executive Management Institute and selected to participate in AFP's Faculty Training Academy, earning the Master Teacher designation. Pat also works with the Iowa Community Foundations and Philanthropy Academy, serves as faculty for Iowa State University Extension's Nonprofit Management Academy and presents for ISU's Women and Philanthropy Conference.
